How Fees Are Calculated

Lighthouse Notary is committed to clear and fair pricing. Fees reflect the time, skill and professional responsibility involved in preparing, verifying and executing your documents. Straightforward matters are usually completed quickly, while more complex or urgent work may require additional time. Before any work begins, you will always receive a clear indication of the likely cost, and where possible a fixed fee will be agreed. Any additional expenses will be explained in advance so you know exactly what to expect.

Notarial Fees

For simple instructions, the minimum fee is £70. For more complex matters, the hourly rate is £300

Disbursements

may arise where documents require legalisation or onward processing. These can include the fees charged by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office for apostilles, as well as any additional legalisation required through the relevant embassy or consulate. Courier or postage fees may also apply where documents need to be transported securely. All disbursements are charged at cost and will be confirmed with you before they are incurred.
